Crohn's disease is a type of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) that may affect any segment of the gastrointestinal tract. Symptoms often include abdominal pain, diarrhea (which may be bloody if inflammation is severe), fever, abdominal distension, and weight loss. Complications outside of the gastrointestinal tract may include anemia, skin rashes, arthritis, inflammation of the eye, and fatigue. The skin rashes may be due to infections as well as pyoderma gangrenosum or erythema nodosum. Bowel obstruction may occur as a complication of chronic inflammation, and those with the disease are at greater risk of colon cancer and small bowel cancer.

I am 47 years old. I have had Crohn's disease since I was 13 years old. I have been in the hospital several times. I have had some very severe attacks. I remember my last episode - I spent 4 weeks in the hospital and for 3 of those weeks I went to the toilet every 20 to 25 minutes with diarrhea. I was completely exhausted from it. I needed one full week to recover. I was on various types of medications including Flagyl, Prednisone, Salazopyrene, Pentasa, Imuran and I can't even remember the name of some of them, I took so many of them. Unfortunately with Crohn's disease came other problems: arthritis, skin problems, rashes, ulcers that took a long time to heal, mouth ulcers, etc. I also had asthma. I was also diagnosed with osteoporosis 3 years ago and it was a side effect of one of my medications. My doctor tried to treat me with prednisone several years ago, but it always came back after 3 or 4 days. He told me to take prednisone for as long as possible, but warned me that it could cause many other problems, such as a rare form of bone cancer, so he prescribed as low a dose as possible. I started drinking Noni. I took 45 ml every day, morning and night. After a week I decided to stop taking prednisone. So far I have not had to go back to this medication. I have since stopped taking all other medications except Imuran (but I take half the dose) A few days ago I saw my osteoporosis specialist and she was incredibly amazed that I was no longer taking prednisone! When we started talking about noni juice, she told me that she has patients who drink the juice. Then she smiled, took a bow and told me to keep doing what I was doing. I could tell by the expression on her face that she was happy. My energy level has also increased. I am sleeping well. I feel great, and going to the bathroom in the morning has stopped being a nightmare for me. I go once a day like a normal person and I think that noni juice is the best gift I have ever received.

I am 55 years old and Australian. Here is the abridged version of my medical and health adventures. After three years of hell and numerous visits to medical specialists, I was finally diagnosed with Crohn's disease. At first, the disease was only suspected, but I broke down when doctors also suspected intestinal cancer. I had more than twenty operations including the removal of parts of my intestines (both small and large). The last surgery was a bypass insertion. During that time I was on medications such as Metronidazole, Stemetil, Maxalon, Valium, Lasix, Flagyl, Prednisolone, Normison, Pana Forte, Voltarin, Prothiaden etc. I also tried every natural medicine remedy that was suggested to me. Then a friend brought me a bottle of noni juice. A week later, she called me and asked if "something happened". I told her that the joint and muscle pain had stopped and I was sleeping normally. I continued drinking the noni but stopped for 9 weeks during an overseas trip. I did not take the noni juice with me. Big mistake! The day I got back, I called my friend and "demanded" some noni juice. I was so sore. Since then, I don't travel anywhere without my noni juice. The only medicine I take is Questran. I take twice a week instead of twice a day and vitamin B12 injection once a month instead of once a week, plus 30 ml of noni juice every morning! I very rarely have pains now and don't live with constant body aches like I did before. I sleep like a baby all night. I wake up each morning feeling refreshed and looking forward to what the day will bring. This is the complete opposite of how I felt twelve months ago. To anyone who is currently suffering as I once did, I say try this. It works!

Update

I just received the result of my gastroenterologist test. I have no sign of disease - my Crohn's is gone and my bone density is 100%. The doctor was very amazed and said that I am healthier than he is!
